A Vision for Aloha’s Future

Aloha and welcome aboard! We’re not the biggest airline around, but as all of us in the Aloha team mark this airline’s 60th anniversary, we are recommitting ourselves to making Aloha the best airline in Hawai‘i and everywhere we fly.

Our goal is to be the preferred airline at home in Hawai‘i and in every market we serve. It’s simply a matter of delivering to every passenger a flying experience that is safe, reliable, convenient and easy. And, of course, because of our name and our proud tradition, that experience must be filled with the spirit of aloha, that Island-style way of caring for people with warmth and compassion as if they were members of our family.

Getting to where we want to be as service providers isn’t rocket science. It’s a matter of sticking to the basics and mastering the art of customer service.

Our Vision Statement includes these tenets on how to treat our customers, business partners and fellow employees, and how we want to fly:

Together, always remembering that none of us is as valuable or effective alone as we are as a team, and that mutual trust and teamwork create an environment that everyone wants to be part of.

With heart, always caring about the value of our team members, customers, investors and business partners, and remembering to treat others as we would want to be treated. Without walls, always understanding the importance of two-way communication.

Beyond our business, always supporting the community where we live, work and play, believing that participation is a responsibility of our membership in society.

With people in mind, always knowing the importance of listening to internal and external customers and partners and, in so doing, helping those who help us.

With open eyes, always realizing the importance of flexibility, while also feeling empowered to “do the right thing” in circumstances where standard processes and procedures may not apply.

The right way, always delivering on our promises and conducting business ethically.

Smart, always using methods that extract the best value for what we do.

Beyond limitations, always ensuring that specific responsibilities and objectives are met, while contributing at every level and at every opportunity, regardless of one’s job or assignment.

With responsiveness, always recognizing and acting quickly to solve problems and seize opportunities.

With passion, always working to be better each and every day.
